My lack of posts is due to recent drugstore makeup hunting (I'm falling in love with them again!) - particularly Maybelline. This brand seems to have a fascination for putting diamond glitters on their products, which I think does well for the Asian market.
Maybelline Eye Studio Hyper Diamonds
I have the first two palettes and I must say, they do sparkle like diamonds! There is so much glitter in this product that I stopped using them for everyday wear because the glitter would spread throughout my face and hands within the day. The colors are beautiful though and I'm sure would be great for parties or going to the club, etc.
Maybelline Eye Studio Diamond Glow Shadow
Now this is a much tamer version of Hyper Diamonds, the shadows just have the right amount of sparkle. I bought the wine pink for my sister and copper brown for my mother, and they seem to use it for daywear just fine. Definitely more wearable.
Maybelline Watershine Pure Diamonds
I haven't gotten my hands on this lipstick primarily because I like matte finishes, but I'm sure this is great if you want more shimmer on your lips.
Maybelline has a bunch of other stuff with diamonds such as lip gloss, a limited edition colossal mascara, and nail polish.
